About Me

Hi, I am Angela a Qualified Specialist Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Differences tutor. and Davis® Dyslexia Facilitator. I am based in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, and I am happy to travel to see clients.

I first became aware of the impact of dyslexia when my son was diagnosed with Dyslexia at the age of 8. I provide structured, individually tailored, one-to-one support to learners.

Before taking time out to bring up my son, I had previously worked as a nurse and as a midwife in the NHS and I have an MBA.
I love travelling and meeting new people and I have worked s a volunteer in Africa as a nurse midwife and more recently on Conservation Wildlife Projects.

Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Learners with Dyslexia, SpLD's and Barriers to Literacy.

My friendly, sensitive, and individualised approach means that learners experience success and enjoyment, leading them to flourish.
