About Me

I am a qualified dyslexia specialist assessor/teacher with 20 years teaching experience. Along with Yorkshire Rose Dyslexia, I am proud to be an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), Member of the Dyslexia Guild (MDG) and the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS). I also hold the National Award for Special Educational Needs (NASENCO). I am passionate about reducing the barriers to education and future employment for all children/young adults that I work with, by guiding them to utilise their strengths, and overcome the challenges, by building personalised learning plans that build self-esteem and confidence.
