About Me
I am an HCPC Registered Psychologist with more than twenty-five years’ experience of working in education and consultancy. I hold a BSc (Honours) degree and PhD in Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in dyslexia. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association and Full Member of PATOSS.
I have worked in research and teaching at several UK universities, and have assessed and supported students across secondary, further and higher education. I have published in peer-reviewed psychology journals and presented at national and international conferences. I have provided consultancy services to private and public sector organisations, including the Home Office, NHS, Microsoft UK, J. Sainsbury and Lloyds TSB.
I have a particular interest in the impact dyslexia can have upon individuals' well-being. I use my wealth of experience and skills as a psychologist in providing a holistic approach to assessing and addressing dyslexia.
I am passionate about the need for awareness of dyslexia in schools, colleges and workplaces, in order that individuals with dyslexia are able to thrive and build upon their strengths.
