About Me

I am a qualified dyslexia specialist assessor/teacher with 20 years teaching experience. Along with Yorkshire Rose Dyslexia, I am proud to be an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), and the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS). I also hold the National Award for Special Educational Needs (NASENCO). I am passionate about reducing the barriers to education and future employment for all children/young adults that I work with, by guiding them to utilise their strengths, and overcome the challenges, by building personalised learning plans that build self-esteem and confidence.
