I work full time as the lead teacher in an integrated specialist provision (Primary) for children with speech, language and communication difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Conditions. I also have experience as a SENCo and Teacher across mainstream and specialist secondary schools. Prior to this, I worked across a multi-academy trust as an improvement advisor for special educational needs and disabilities.
I am currently studying for Level 5 advanced teacher status in Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia) and will have completed the L7 course by April 2022.
BA (honours) Key Stage 2/3 Education with Modern Foreign Languages (QTS)
Post-graduate certificate in special educational needs coordination (completed Dec 2015)
10 years total teaching experience including 8 years working specifically with children with SEND.
